Momoko (In Progress)
A love letter in VR to argue what is real and what is fake in the fandom of the virtual idol industry. One may view "getting closer” to their idol as an alternative of intimacy, friendship, and identification IRL, whilst another may realize the violence and chaos under the capitalist control.
This story is identifiable within two distinct tropes – the beautiful, tranquil orient and a violent, frenetic hyper-modernity.
